Some comments:
ReplyDelete-Polk, Rowland and Tang should form a pretty good defensive outfield.
-Robbins is a high-upside guy with a lot of power. Expect him to be a middle-of-the-order run-producer for CT.
-Michael Torrealba seems like the most likely candidate for closer and he should be rock-solid in that capacity.
-I expect Mendoza, Sanz, Carreno and Guichardo will all be in the starting rotation. Not sure about the 5th starter...possibly Baxter.
Robbins will hit third.
ReplyDeleteare any of these guys considered stud prospects?
ReplyDeleteIt's tough to say. Of the guys with pro experience, no, none are stud prospects. Of the newly drafted guys, we'll all learn together this season if they appear to have a high ceiling. The guy to watch out for, though, is Robbins.
