  1. man this is taking a long time, i wonder if this is some kind of backlash for pulling the team from oneonta 1 year early? oneonta already has a new team in the nycbl.

  2. I've been told that it's just missing a signature or two from being finalized. What I'm hearing is this move is not in any sort of doubt. There's certainly some frustration on the part of the Tigers, who wanted to have this done a month or more ago.

As far as backlash, I don't think so. MiLB won't punish a team for moving somewhere it can make more money. The longer it waits, the more likely MiLB hurts itself. So there isn't any sort of motive behind the long wait besides MiLB and MLB being notoriously slow.

  3. as you mentioned earlier it will be hard to attract new sponsors, yet most likely they will be able to retain many of the old sponsors. i'm going to place an ad for my business in the program when things are cleared to go. there seems to be another organization called the connecticut tigers, do you think that might be in the way? i think using connecticut in the name is a mistake, i think people need to have a clear picture in mind of where the team actually is. does that make sense?, i think new london county or norwich would be much better, and keep the name tigers, it would be madness to have to market a new name next year.
